Hot Mesh X-Module

The X-module is the building block of our epic space-making and shadow-casting structural system Hot Mesh. The semi-transparent shape multiplies out to form complex interlocking structures. With many together, it's a furniture and architectural system. One by itself makes a beautiful contemplative object. Each X-module is a condensed expression of highly skilled labour, taking days to make by hand: from the heavier gauge wireframe base, to the exacting weaving to skin it with fine wire (or 'plaster it' as wire artists say). They're available galvanised in gold or silver colour (yellow or clear passivation). Made to order. Each module is 37 x 32 x 10cm (it's sized to the approximate width of an 12-inch record cover). An additional note for US customers: from August 2025, there has been an across-the-board tariff of 30% levied on all imports from South Africa to the US. You'll see it added as a line item at check out. Let's hope this changes soon!
